‘Hidden Figures’ celebrates black women leadership In taking NASA to the Moon.

I am a sucker for a good movie, specially if the movie is about Black American History, I truly enjoyed Selma, and have seen most political and historical black movies.

It’s great to see a golden age in Hollywood where black men/women can celebrate their historical achiements just as much as anyone elses.

In Hidden Figures director Theodore Melfi tells the story when the US and Russia had their space race, and NASA needed help in reaseach  and found untapped talent in a group of African-American female mathematicians that served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in U.S. history.

I am very much looking forward to seeing Hidden Figures when it debuts in the UK on the 24th of February next year (2017).
